Visits take place on the third Friday of March, May, July, September, November.
The K13 Weekend in January (By invitation only)

These visits are totally impartial and treated on a 'first come - first served' basis. Please do not make the assumption that because you came in July one year then that will be for all Julys. Each and every visit must be considered as a 'One Off'. You are welcome to arrange to come again the following year but it must be done in an individual and proper manner.

Also please be aware that you may find that you are sharing the visit with other branches or Associations (e.g. The RNA). The number of personnel per visit is entirely down to the availability of Base accommodation. accommodation within the Base is very difficult to get now and will get worse before it improves. There is a new building programme starting but will not be complete until circa 2017. Similarly we cannot guarantee a host submarine - but we will always do our best to arrange one! Please remember that this is a fully operational submarine Base and not a theme park therefore because of operational commitments we may have to cancel visits at the LAST moment. Bear this in mind if you are booking air flights!!

There are security arrangements for entry to the Base. Previously we supplied you with passes. This is no longer the case. Everyone visiting the Base must present photographic ID and have their photograph taken by the MoD Police for the temporary pass.

Normal procedure is that visitors arrive at the base on the Friday at approx. 1600. They will be escorted to the WO & SR Mess and allocated a cabin for the weekend.

Muster in the Kennedy Bar at 1700 for a formal welcome and security brief.
You are invited to attend the regular monthly meeting of the West of Scotland Branch starting at 2000. On completion - usual social!!
However the Visiting Branch will need to organise their own accommodation in the Local Area.

Saturday forenoon visit host submarine and tour the loch on the duty police launch.
After lunch a DTS and visit to Helensburgh or bed!!
Muster in Kennedy Bar in evening for free-to-enter fun Pub Quiz with prizes!!

Sunday, make your way home as and when...................
ALL BRANCHES ARE VERY WELCOME AND GRACIE AND I WELCOME YOU TO A WEEKEND YOU WILL REMEMBER
